Vanessa Dede
|
Vanessa studied Civil and Environmental Engineering at Imperial College, University of London, and obtained an MEng degree in 1998 with first class honors. She spent the final year of her course at École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in France where she was awarded the prize of the best foreign university student.
She is an associate of EDAFOS S.A. since 1998. She has been involved in projects that cover a broad spectrum of geotechnical engineering (foundations, earthworks, retaining structures, landslides, tunnels, construction and monitoring of dams, conservation of cultural monuments, landfills, preparation of design contest notices, checking of geotechnical designs) but also in environmental engineering projects (environmental impact studies for roads, dams and buildings, studies regarding soil pollution). She is experienced in all aspects of works (field, laboratory testing, desk studies, design, scheduling, co-ordination, presentations, budgets, costing, quantity surveys etc). She is a certified energy assessor with registration number 10192. She is a member of the i) Technical Chamber of Greece (ΤΕΕ), ii) Association of Civil Engineers of Greece, iii) International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE) iv) Hellenic Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ΕΕΕΕΓΜ). She has participated in conferences related to the fields of geotechnical and environmental engineering. |
